So, I have just become obsessed with flat boots and have decided that I need a pair. Yes, need a pair. But there are so many cute ones out there and I can't make up my mind whether I should get them in black or in cognac. So, I was hoping that I could get some suggestions?

Well you should definitely get the 'Ted' Boot!! duh?!!? haha
okay for once, i actually have two cents to contribute to in terms of the fashion topic at hand. i have also been OBSESSED with flat boots for about two years now. depends on how you want to coordinate it. slouchy or straight riding boots. i personally have a semi-slouchy cognac one. evolution of cowboy boots. the only thing wth this is it has a wedge. if you look at some your picks. they have wedges too. for a person like me who got flat boots for utter comfort. this was a fail. ppl like you with nerveless feet from years of torture with heels. this will be nothing. but my REAL favorite is my new black over the knee ones. they are versatile to be over the knee and warm up my arthritis knees. or they can also be folded over and make nice black boots. LOVES IT. so my advice is. think of how you want to wear the outfits/comfort....okay that was terrible advice. but its the best i can do when it comes to fashion advice for the aspiring stylist. AHAHA.
and one last thing, ted is corny.
but the ted boots are my pick too, out of the lot.

jamie - wow that's a long comment. thank you! the thing is i wanna wear it while working and walking around all day but wearing something thats still casual/comfortable. so i am leaning more towards the black versus cognac. but i've seen ppl wear black leggings/pants whatever and wear cognac boots and still looks good. hmmmm so far i've narrowed it down to the ted boot and the three steve madden ones.....

in the end, knowing you, i know youre gonna end up buying one of each color. it just depends on which one you buy first. haha.
