Things I am absolutely in LOVE with at this moment!
Bare Escentuals Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Stick in "Las Vegas" (www.sephora.com)
I finally found a pink color that looks good on me without looking tacky! Yay!
Urban Outfitters Kimchi Blue Lace Yoke Button Up Top in Black (www.urbanoutfitters.com)
Just enough lace for me. And I LOVE how it feels on. :)
Urban Outfitters Mix Printed Sequin Sublimated Tank (www.urbanoutfitters.com)
It's so colorful and fun, and it's a long tank that I can wear comfortably with leggings, jeggings, or even skinnies!
GENLUX Magazine (www.genlux.com)
It was my first time buying this magazine, although I've seen/bought other fashion magazines like Flaunt and Nylon, and I really like it! If you're really into fashion, you need to invest in real fashion magazines like this. You will see what I mean.

A Nice Little Surprise
As much as I love fashion, I actually love beauty products as well.
I'm usually always on the lookout for and noting the best products out there. I'm also always trying out a bunch of different products to find what suits me best.
So, when I ran out of my daytime moisturizer, which was a Missha product from Korea, and found a lotion I got from a gift bag a while back, it actually turned out to be a nice surprise! At first I thought I would just use this until I could find the next perfect moisturizer, but from the first day I used this product I knew I wouldn't have to spend any more money. It not only has SPF 20, but it has other functions on top of being light enough but moisturizing throughout the day under makeup!
The texture is almost like a sunscreen, but when you apply it, it's very lightweight and smooth, and it doesn't become greasy or shiny at all. For me, it even served as a good primer under light makeup, and throughout the day my skin looked really good.

I realized that sometimes you really don't have to spend tons of money on products - as long as it's right for you. I know I'll be using this one until the very last drop. :)

Comfort & Style
My outfit today was all about comfort.
Moda International Fuchsia Top; Guess Black Skinny Jeans; Converse One Star Sneakers from TARGET; Bracelets and Bag from Korea; Follie Follie Watch (that I finally got fixed!)
Moda International Fuchsia Top; Guess Black Skinny Jeans; Converse One Star Sneakers from TARGET; Bracelets and Bag from Korea; Follie Follie Watch (that I finally got fixed!)
Seriously, schlepping garment bags around is NO joke. My feet didn't hurt one bit today :)
So, after work I stopped by Nordstrom to get a new night cream...
and ended up coming home with a list of *I WANT* items that are slowly turning into *I NEED* items.
Betsey Johnson Checkbook/Wallet/Clutch (about $100 at Nordstrom)
I can't find it anywhere online, even Nordstrom.com, and it's making me need it even more!
I realllllly like the white one :(
Me Too "Prissy" Flat. I need new COMFY simple everyday flats. And this seemed really cushiony and comfy and simple. don't u think? ;)
Sam Edelman "Daria" Sandal (also like the mineral gray color)
or
Steve Madden "Wavverly" Sandal
For the Sam Edelman ones, the picture doesn't do justice. In actuality it looks really cute. hm.
and last but not least,
Steve Madden "Stutter" boot. A style that I've been searching for too long now and the cold season is almost over. Still, I love.

Simple Things That Will Make You Look & Feel Better
Posture
Being conscious about your posture and constantly trying to fix it so that your shoulders aren't hunched over will help the overall look of your body. If you sit/stand up straighter, it will not only make you look taller, but it will make you feel better about your body. Years of habit can't be fixed over night, but if you make a conscious effort to straighten up, it'll slowly but surely make a difference.
Drink Water
I always have to make myself drink lots of water, because I'm just not used to feeling the need to drink. However, because I know it's necessary for a healthier body and appearance, I make the effort. Hydration on the inside will eventually reflect itself on the outside - your skin. Don't just rely on beauty products, drink more water!!!
At Home Facials
I usually get skincare once a week or once every 2 weeks, but there are times when I just don't have the time to go. Sometimes I'll go months without taking extra care of my skin other than the basics, such as cleansing, toning, and moisturizing. I realized that your skin does look and feel different depending on the amount of care given it, but you don't necessarily have to go to a spa all the time. Even spending 5-15 minutes on a homecare routine of masks can do the trick. As long as you take some time maybe 2-3 times a week to do a mask that's right for the kind of treatment your skin needs at the moment, it'll make a noticeable difference - especially the day after when you put on makeup. By "the right kind of treatment your skin needs at the moment," I mean that your skin will have different needs on different days. For example, if you're oilier than usual and may be breaking out, you'll want to use a clay type mask, or if you're noticing that your skin is a bit dull and tired, you'll want to exfoliate and then use a soothing/calming gel type mask. Whatever your case, just spending a little time after your normal routine will immediately make a difference on the look and feel of your skin!
*BONUS
This is something I just realized, but reading health & fitness magazines like Shape is a very good idea. I used to never really read those because I thought, why read a magazine when you can go to the gym? But I just realized a different benefit from reading these magazines. These magazines are full of tips and information on just living a better, healthier lifestyle overall, and simply looking through one will motivate you to want to change a bunch of things about your current lifestyle. Even if it's not like you're gonna go and actually do every single thing it tells you to do, but at the least it'll get you thinking....!

I'm BACK
I have been so bad with my blogging, but I have decided to try my best at it again!
I thought of having a system like blog every Monday, but I think I'm gonna stick with blogging whenever I have something to blog about (hoping I'll have lots to blog about)! I actually always have a ton of stuff on my mind, but with so much going on in my head 24/7 I don't quite get to the blogging part. But, I will.
So here goes.
Of all the upcoming trends that have been popping up in magazine and fashion sites, I've picked a few that I'm interested in myself.
* Stripes

(image source: us.topshop.com)
This I just bought. was also available in navy but I chose this color since I have nothing like this. And I'm always wearing oversized tees with leggings these days :)
(image source: www.urbanoutfitters.com)
I couldn't find the one in cream w/ black stripes so I posted this one. Still cute, just not my color.
* Denim
(image source: www.revolveclothing.com)
Current/Elliot the Tulip Dress
The trend is turning towards everything denim - not just jeans or a jacket. It's about denim shoes, bags, dresses, shirts, etc. Personally, I don't know if I'd wear denim shoes or bags, but I am loving the chambray dresses and dress shirts...
(image source: www.urbanoutfitters.com)
Brodie Strapless Chambray Dress
* Shirt Dresses
(image source: www.urbanoutfitters.com)
BDG Chambray Dress
(image source: www.shopbop.com)
Rag & Bone Tailrace Shirtdress
I would SO get this...if it wasn't $325...
* Accent Shoulders
(image source: www.asos.com)
ASOS Embellished Shoulder Sweat Top
(image source: www.net-a-porter.com)
Alice + Olivia Jewel Shoulder Jersey T-shirt
I've seen this top on, and it's even more amazing.
* LACE

For someone like me that cannot work a full on lace look, I'd go with the first look that has just enough lace to be trendy and feminine. Even with the second look, you could wear a spaghetti strap underneath, and with the third look you could wear a longer tunic or dress! I've never been a huge fan of lace, but lately it has really been growing on me.
It's dangerous when you've forced yourself to stay away from online shopping for about 3-4 months and then give in.......... I think I just splurged.

Dress Up: Effortless Cool & Chic
I often start with one item/garment, and then somehow the complete look starts to form in my mind like a vision. In my mind I start adding the accessories one by one to make the look whole, and in the end it somehow manages to come together pretty well!
I started this look with the shirt dress, then added the legging, the booties, the belt, the bag, and finally all those bangles!! I kinda love this look so much that I wanna go out and buy the entire look for myself - if only my wallet allowed. :)
Oak Black Check Shirt Dress ($189)
Wolford Flash Leggings in Black ($65)
Charlotte Russe Buckled Flat Boots in Cognac ($34.99)
Anthropologie Sine Wave Belt ($42)
YSL Large Muse in Black Patent Shown (although I prefer the Classic Black Leather - on my wish list for a while now!) ($1295)
Juicy Couture "Reinvent Yourself" Pyramid Stretch Bangle Bracelet ($98)
House of Harlow 1960 Black Leather Stack Bangle with Stones in Gold ($115)
House of Harlow Aztec Bangle ($72.50)
Oasis Military Stacked Bangles ($23.80)
MARC by Marc Jacobs Enamel Hinge Bangle ($98)
Kate Spade Creme De La Creme Idiom Bangle ($42)
Bobbi Brown Long-wear Gel Eyeliner in Black ($21)
*Note - I wouldn't wear all the bangles at once, but I would pick and choose among those that looks best or that I feel like that day!

WANTED: Flat Boots
So, I have just become obsessed with flat boots and have decided that I need a pair. Yes, need a pair. But there are so many cute ones out there and I can't make up my mind whether I should get them in black or in cognac. So, I was hoping that I could get some suggestions?
Can you now see why I'm having such a hard time making my decision??? HELP!
And as a bonus...here's a MARC by Marc Jacobs Faux Lace-up Rain Boot!
